Caleb supports victims of all types of elder abuse. He first joined EL&A to prepare restraining orders for older adults suffering from physical and emotional abuse. Since then, he has continued serving victims in civil litigation by working on nursing home neglect and physical abuse cases and elder financial abuse cases involving fraud, predatory lending, etc.

Caleb is active with the California Low-Income Consumer Coalition—an organization committed to legislative advocacy for low-income individuals. He supports the organization by preparing suggested bills and research to present to state legislators. For example, he helped spearhead SB 278, a bill passed by the legislature in the 2023-24 session before getting vetoed. Another bill of his, AB 561, became law in 2025 and modernizes elder abuse restraining order procedures.

From the beginning of his legal career, Caleb has passionately focused on issues facing older adults. He enjoys complex legal matters and problem solving and hopes to give older adults a voice through his work.

When he’s not helping the community, Caleb likes to stay physically active by running, hiking, and walking. You may also find him baking an assortment of vegan goods, from coffeecakes to cinnamon rolls to pizza.
