Alan focuses his practice on providing advice, counsel, and advocacy to older adults in Imperial County. He formerly ran Elder Law & Advocacy’s restraining order and unlawful detainer legal clinic at the El Centro Courthouse.

Alan previously worked as an estate-planning attorney at a statewide non-profit, where he prepared comprehensive estate plans for low income individuals. Alan is interested in capacity issues, and enjoys teaching people about the potential benefits and consequences of substituted decision making.

Alan is passionate about collaborating with Elder Law & Advocacy clients to come up with unique solutions to a wide range of issues.
