Aurora Valdez De La Torre

Community Engagement Coordinator

Why This Work is Important To Me

Working with seniors is deeply meaningful to me because I grew up wishing I could advocate for my grandparents during their health challenges. Seniors are the backbone of our families and communities, yet they often face barriers to care and support. In this role, I can honor my grandparents by helping other elders receive the resources they deserve, and I am committed to ensuring they have the dignity, care, and advocacy they’ve long given others.
